We hired Majestic to replaster our pool and clean up the water line tile. The pool looks great, even better than I expected! I appreciate their patience in helping us pick a color and tile. I was amazed at how fast the work was completed.

FAQ's

Frequently Asked
Questions

We've provided answers to many of our most frequently asked questions. Have a different question for our team? We're happy to help! Just send us an email at admin@majesticpoolstx.com

How Long Does Plaster Resurfacing Take?

Most resurfacing takes 2–3 weeks from start to finish. We drain the pool, prep and repair the shell, apply new plaster, and let it cure properly. You can't use the pool during this time, but the new finish is worth the wait. We schedule work to minimize disruption to your summer plans.

How Do I Know When My Pool Plaster Needs Resurfacing?

Plaster typically lasts 7–10 years in Houston. Signs it's time include rough texture, visible staining that won't clean, small cracks, or calcium buildup. If your pool feels uncomfortable to swim in or looks tired, resurfacing restores both safety and appearance. We assess your plaster during maintenance visits and let you know when the time is right.

What Are My Options if I Don't Want Plaster?

When resurfacing, you can choose polished aggregate or tile instead of replaster. Aggregate finishes last 10–15 years and resist algae better. Tile is premium, longest-lasting, and gives a resort feel. We explain the pros and cons of each so you pick what fits your budget and lifestyle.
